Looking for an Editorial London Wedding Photographer?
Planning a wedding in London or the surrounding areas? I’m Tom Aizenberg, a photographer specialising in editorial-style wedding storytelling that captures your love with authenticity and artistry.
While traditional, posed photos have their place, your wedding is a truly unique occasion—so why should your wedding imagery feel generic? Every couple has their own story to tell, and more people are moving away from conventional styles, seeking photography that genuinely reflects their personalities and vision.
I go beyond simply documenting the day—I blend documentary-style storytelling with the elegance of editorial wedding photography, creating natural yet striking images that wouldn’t look out of place in a magazine. From the smallest details to the most heartfelt emotions, my goal is to craft a visual narrative that reflects the energy, atmosphere, and essence of your special day.
If you’re searching for an editorial wedding photographer in London who can transform your memories into timeless, artistic images, let’s chat! Get in touch today, and let’s create wedding photography that truly reflects you.

Looking for an Editorial London Wedding Photographer?
Finding the right creative wedding photographer can feel overwhelming. You don’t want just any photographer capturing your big day—you need someone who lets the day flow naturally, allowing you to truly immerse yourself in the moment while still delivering stunning, editorial-style imagery.
If that resonates with you, then—humbly—I believe I’m the photographer you’re looking for! Creating breathtaking wedding photography is my passion, whether it’s a beautifully candid moment of you embracing your gran or a striking, golden-hour portrait in an open field. My approach is unobtrusive—I won’t intrude, intervene, or disrupt the flow of your day.
Your wedding should be authentic, effortless, and completely yours—and you deserve photos that reflect that. Let’s create something unforgettable together.

London As a Wedding Destination.
From my experience, the venue isn’t just a backdrop—it plays a crucial role in shaping the atmosphere of your day, influencing the overall aesthetic and feel of your wedding photography. The space you choose helps tell your story, setting the tone for every moment captured.
With so many options available, narrowing it down can feel overwhelming. To help, I’ve put together my top five London wedding venues, perfect for couples looking for a setting that reflects their style and vision.
- The Asylum Chapel, Peckham. Probably the iconic alternative London wedding venue. If you’d like to see a wedding I’ve worked on at The Asylum, then click here. You can find The Asylum here: Caroline Gardens, Asylum Road, London, SE15 2SQ.
- MC Motors, Dalston. MC Motors has to be seen to be believed – one of the most characterful venues you could choose for your wedding, and has a great flow, as a space. MC Motors’ address is: 28 Miller’s Ave, London E8 2DS.
- Wilton’s Music Hall, Whitechapel. An actual, still functional music hall with heritage to die for, as well as a unique vibe and atmosphere that is sure to give your day the unique sense of occasion it deserves! Wilton’s is between Wapping and Whitechapel: 1 Graces Alley, London E1 8JB.
- The Barbican Centre, The City. Brutalist architecture is finally undergoing a long overdue reappraisal, and The Barbican Centre is probably the quintessential brutalist building. I’m a big fan of it and think it makes a stunning and cinematic setting for a wedding with its own identity. The Barbican’s address? Silk St, Barbican, London EC2Y 8DS.
- Sunbeam Studios, Kensington. A beautiful space that is drenched in touches that scream ‘old world glamour’ and yet, if you check out the weddings that people have had there, there’s remarkable scope to transform the space and make it your own. In summer, the light is insanely plentiful – it’s clear where it gets its name! Sunbeam Studios is located here: Ladbroke Hall, 79 Barlby Rd, London W10 6AZ.
What Is Editorial Wedding Photography?
Well, that’s the big question, isn’t it? To me, editorial wedding photography isn’t just about capturing a beautiful day—it’s about storytelling, creativity, and authenticity. It’s not about following a rigid formula, but about crafting images that reflect who you truly are. It’s about embracing the moments that matter, whether they’re bold and striking or quiet and intimate.
London is the perfect setting for this approach, with its mix of historic charm and modern energy. Many couples here choose to break away from convention, opting for a wedding that feels true to them rather than following tradition for the sake of it. When I work with couples who share this vision, it feels like finding my creative home.
At its heart, editorial wedding photography is about bringing your day to life through striking, expressive imagery. It’s about elevating your memories—capturing moments with heart and soul, without forcing them into a traditional mould.
Let’s Create Something Unforgettable
If this approach resonates with you, I’d love to hear more about your plans. Photographing weddings is my dream job, and I believe that getting to know you as a couple is key to capturing your day in the most meaningful way. That’s why I offer a complimentary engagement shoot with all my main packages—it’s a chance to connect, relax, and create something special together before the big day.
On your wedding day, I’m always looking for a mix of moments—those iconic, emotional highlights as well as the quieter, in-between glances that often go unseen. I also love taking time for portraits, giving you a chance to step away for a moment, soak it all in, and create something visually stunning that adds to your story.
If you’re looking for a wedding photographer who values creativity, storytelling, and authenticity, let’s chat—I’d love to be part of your journey.
