If you’re planning a wedding at Froyle Park in Hampshire, you’ll love this! I almost can’t believe I got to photograph this awesome wedding day!

Emma and Jon got married at Froyle Park, which is a beautiful country house in Hampshire with countryside views. It was a gorgeous day and the sun shone all day long!

The ceremony

The ceremony was a beautiful service in a stunning room. During the ceremony, they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was so meaningful.

They decorated the area with flowers, which I loved. The reception was in a beautiful room at Froyle Park – I love this venue because you can totally personalise it. Weddings at Froyle Park are amazing because the photo ops are endless.

Why Froyle Park is a great place to get married

Froyle Park is perfect for couples who want a chilled out wedding, and is one of the best places to get married in Hampshire. The venue offers onsite parking so guests don’t have to walk – and there is a gazebo that’s perfect for photos.

The reception

The couple had a cocktail drinks reception in the afternoon, and a casino (thankfully with fake money) in the evening. It felt really evocative of them asa couple, and their guests seemed to absolutely love it. For dinner they had proper wedding grub, and the first dance was to their favourite song. They finished off the evening with Jagerbombs all round.

The couple

Emma wore a classic white dress and Jon wore a navy suit and they looked really dapper.

The couple got in touch with me years ago, and their enquiry was so personal. They said they didn’t care about anything except having an epic party, and I loved that they were so relaxed. It always seems to be the case that my clients want a chilled and fun day most of all, and they hire me because I take natural photos that will help them relive that day as well as some beautiful portraits.

Advice for planning your wedding at Froyle Park

There are so many great details, and it is super elegant, but at the same time, there is a lot of scope to make it your own, and personalise it if you want. It felt like the staff were really good at letting the day flow, and the food was amazing. It’s also got some great spots for portraits, and, as I always suggest to my couples to have some portraits at golden hour, you can get some great shots with the surrounding countryside in them.
